Hello there - Welcome to my website. Here's just a few items which I hope you find of interest.
At home I have two hobbies and one passion. My hobbies are photography (you can see some of my efforts on the photographs' page) and backgammon. The latter is a game which I play most weeks, on the internet, and am currently graded as a "master". The next step is to become a "grand master", but I'm finding the move to the next level is very tough......and before you ask, my passion is for West Bromwich Albion. I've been a life long supporter and have been a season ticket holder for thirty years or so. My wife is Sandra, and we have a 22 year old daughter; Alisan ( who has returned home after gaining a degree in Biological Sciences from Liverpool University) and a 19 year old son Richard, who is completing his A levels this year.
All my working life has been in the nuclear industry, and following the recent acquisition of VT Group by Babcock International I have been recently appointed as Capability Director of the Nuclear Business.
I am also a main board member of the National Skills Academy for Nuclear and chair a committee responsible for a certificate for nuclear professionals.
